Why we created One Plus A Day and what you need to know about this multivitamin

Ever wondered about the thought processes and considerations behind the development of a new product?

We bring you behind the scenes to the product development process of our new multivitamin – One Plus A Day!

Q: Why did we make this product?

As we were observing people’s daily lifestyles in this modern world, we realised that there were many factors that could greatly affect our health and nutrition.

Instead of reacting only when health warning signs kick in, we wanted to place our focus on preventive care instead by improving our body’s natural resistance.

Making diet changes for some may be difficult, thus consuming a supplement like multivitamins can be an essential support to our health in a fuss-free manner.

It can also help to improve our energy levels and supplement any possible nutritional or dietary gaps.

Q: What makes One Plus A Day different from other multivitamins?

The use of glycoprotein nutrients in the formula is what makes One Plus A Day unique!

One Plus A Day multivitamin complements daily diet with sufficient nutrition

One of the most important considerations when choosing your multivitamins is its bioavailability.

Bioavailability is the ability of a substance to be absorbed and used by the body.

The higher the bioavailability of a supplement, the easier it is for your body to absorb the nutrients in it.

To do so, nutrients and minerals used in the multivitamin are fermented with whole foods and beneficial microorganisms.

Here’s how the process works:

How Glycoprotein-nutrient complex is formed

This process helps to improve the bioavailability and increase absorption of One Plus A Day, which means more nutritional goodness for your body!

Take a quick look at some of glycoprotein technology’s benefits:

  1. Increased absorption and bioavailability

The body is able to absorb and use the nutrients more effectively. Binding the vitamins and minerals to glycoprotein increases the nutrients’ stability. This provides a higher concentration of nutrients available for the body to absorb and utilise.

  1. Higher antioxidant capacity for certain nutrients

Some glycoprotein vitamins have greater antioxidant capacity than conventional vitamins.

  1. Gentler on stomach

The glycoprotein nutrients promote a slower and gentler release of the nutrients, making the supplement gentler on the stomach.

Q: Why 21 vitamins & minerals and not more?

A multivitamin with a higher number of vitamins and minerals may seem to be a better choice, but that might not mean that all the nutrients are being absorbed and used by the body.

21 essential vitamins and minerals

On top of the 21 essential vitamins and minerals in our formula, we placed more emphasis on increasing absorption and usability of the vitamins and minerals.

A multivitamin with higher bioavailability would better ensure that your body gets to absorb and use all its nutritional goodness to the maximum.

Q: So.. what are the main benefits of One Plus A Day?

One Plus A Day is a multitasker that helps to supplement our diet, maintain our general health and also support our body’s natural resistance.
